The name of the reading is Bounty. For this pat of the story we used outcome 18:018.0910: Student analyzes George Saunders’ stories through the lens of moral dilemmas, altruism, and egoism. This story is connected to the outcome in the way that this story contains all of them, moral dilemma, altruism and egoism.The moral dilemma of this story is based on Cole to make a decision to help his sister or to leave her on her own. At the beginning Cole was kind of egoist because he was thinking only about himself, he did not want to let her sister go and let her be happy, he want her to stay with him. After that we saw a change in the story in the way that Cole has change, he decide to let her sister go so that she can get married to a rich guy who was in love with her. That is was altruism is about, not just thinking about you but others. I can say that this story can related to this 3 terms.

Cole is a flaw man, meaning that he is not normal he have some problems in his body, he has a disable foot who keep him away from many things. This personal problem the he have is keeping him away from having a normal life. People are scared of him that is way he life in a separated place from everybody. He does not have a job he doesn’t even have the opportunity to interact with other people. There was one time one girl who likes Cole at the beginning but when she saw his feet she got scared and run away from Cole. Also his sister Connie have some similar problems they are not normal, and because of that they need to face daily issue that are not good for them.

well this outcome is related to my story in the way that i shows sociological imagination because one of the protagonist cole has an issue that affect him in many different ways. Cole is a flaw man, meaning that he is not normal he have some problems in his body, he has a disable foot who keep him away from many things. This personal problem the he have is keeping him away from having a normal life. People are scared of him that is way he life in a separeted place from everybody. He does not have a job he doesn’t even have the oportunity to interac with other people. There was one time one girl who likes cole at the beginnig but when she saw his feet she got scared and run away from cole. Also his sister connie have some similar problems they are not normal, and because of that they need to face dialy issue that are not good for them.

I don’t think that wall-mart is good for Americans because in terms of economy even though they sell things for a good price they hurt the economy and also it make other small companies to go down. As we all know that this is a powerfull company it also damadge employees that work at small stores  so it could hurt also the Americans pocked because there will no be anough jobs for peoplemwho need to work. Also Wal Mart is doing some kind of wierd  business in China that are not good for America. Such a big company manufacture most of its supply in China and not in America, this can make a huge difference in the country’s economy. If  Wal Mart produce most of its supply in this country they can contribute in a greater amount to the economy.

Tyson Found Guilty on 3 Counts As Indianapolis Rape Trial Ends

INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 10— Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight champion and one of the world’s most recognized figures in and out of boxing, was found guilty tonight of raping an 18-year-old woman last July. In a verdict handed down almost 10 hours after the case went to the jury, Mr. Tyson was found guilty on one count of rape and two counts of criminal deviate conduct. Mr. Tyson, who left the courthouse without making any comment, could face from 6 to 20 years in prison on each of the three counts when he is sentenced by Judge Patricia J. Gifford on March 6. Until then he remains free on $30,000 bail. However, he did surrender his passport to the court before leaving tonight. As has been the case each time he walked through the lobby of the City-County Building, where the court is located, during the 13-day trial he was greeted by fans who snapped pictures, applauded and shouted such things as “We know you didn’t do it!” The lead prosecutor in the case, J. Gregory Garrison, refused to speculate on the impact the verdict would have on other rape cases, especially those involving what is known variously as date rape or acquaintance rape.

While the Mets finished their preparations for a salary arbitration hearing with Kevin Elster today, the Yankees eliminated two-thirds of their remaining arbitration cases yesterday, reaching agreement with Melido Perez and Alvaro Espinoza. The activity of the New York teams came on a day when Dann Bilardello, a catcher with the San Diego Padres, learned he had lost his case and wound up with the smallest salary in arbitration since 1986. Bilardello failed in his bid for a modest $235,000. Stephen Goldberg, the arbitrator who heard the case in Los Angeles last Friday, ruled for the Padres’ $125,000, which is only $10,000 more than the catcher earned last year and only $16,000 more than this year’s minimum salary.
